As a past user of drugs, I have come to understand that some people have very addictive personalities, and some don't. I'm one that doesn't have this type of personality. Ive can say I've tried a few of the drugs that are out there and i can say that i used them once and never turned back. While some of my friends i have seen waste themselves to just get that "high". I have one friend who has had the Children services up knocking at her door for using the substance cocaine in front of her child, while she denied this to them i knew it was a lie. She has family problems and one her father is a drug user, so it makes you wonder if it runs in the family. I know they say if a parent smokes, its likely that your child will smoke also. I have found this to be true.
My brother when he was younger hated cigarette smoke and wouldnt go to school if my mom lit one up in the morning, and he started smoking about three years ago and hes 25 years old now, but he dips instead of smoking. So that can only make you wonder, Does it run in the family? If one parent does it will the child? In my friends case i think and with many others that it may be a factor in this equation. Though i can not be 100 percent true. It seems like the influences around you and how you perceive them will be how you take oncoming obstacles in your life. My friend would rather get high and keep trying to find the drug instead of paying any kind of attention but negative to her son. I can say as far as i know she is clean, but i know she has relapsed many times, as well with others i can imagine.
But addiction is a funny thing you can be addicted to many different things besides drugs. Some are addicted to the high that adrenaline gives you. Or the way that it makes them feel when there buying all those clothes and maxing out there credit cards.
I believe you can be addicted to just about anything in this world. One thing i believe people are to obsessed with is money. Everyone has to have money. The people who have a lot of it seem that they can never get enough. And the people who has less, always seem to try to find more ways of making money.
But how much is enough? Millions in some people eyes isn't enough for them while some wish they had just a million. But when will enough ever be enough for anyone no matter what it is. You see it doesn't matter what the addiction may be, the question is will we ever get enough of anything? Or will we just keep wanting more and more till well theres nothing left to give or take? Thats the question.
