For five years my mother lived with an alcoholic.
During this time, I saw first hand what alcoholism does to families.
There are different kinds of drinkers.
There's those who are social drinkers and chronic alcoholics.
The question is, where's the line and how does someone know if or when they cross it?
Obviously if someone is falling down drunk, they crossed the line. I hate talking to someone who is so drunk they're slurring speech. Even worse than that though, is someone who is a belligerent drunk. Ten feet tall and bulletproof really means three sheets to the wind but too blitzed to notice.
If you're going to drink, be responsible about it.
There are drinkers, and there are drunks.
Key to drawing the line is recognizing the difference.
I am not trying to criticize anyone only pointing out
All things are best in moderation.
A couple final points, friends don't let friends drive drunk.
That may sound like a cliche but it's still true,
If you care about someone don't let them put themselves or others at risk.
