I've been an addict of computer gaming, but I'm worried on students who are playing online games even during class hours, and spend almost all of their daily allowance in buying gaming loads. The sad thing is that Internet Café's are so near just a walking distance away from a school. Student usually spend about 3-5 hours on internet café's and the life style of computer gaming limits their studying hours, even loosing there concentration on studying, and making their sleeping hours short, because if you're an addict on computer games you will experience its effect every time you try to sleep at night. It's like hearing and playing the game inside your mind that makes it hard to sleep. I know, because I'm also a computer game addict since I was in kindergarten years.

All I can say is that it really made me lazy on reading books, and making my study preference as an audio visual person. It's so hard not being used in reading books because now I'm in college reading is very crucial part so that I can cope with the subjects. I also ask my friends who are also computer game addicts that they also experience the same thing like sleeping problems. I'm so worried because the new generation of computer gamers are so hard core that they are willing to spend almost 8-12 hours of playing per day and spend large amount of money trading items that will benefit there gaming accounts. What would happen to their health? Because, we all know long and over exposure in front of a pc monitor gives us head aches and possible eye problems. I write this article as my observation and as a concern on the growing community of young computer gamers. My advice to young gamers out there are.
- Study first
- Play after you homework is done
- Stop when you start to feel dizzy or sleepy
- Don't skip meals(very important)
- Eat Nutritious Foods
- Eat protein rich food to sharpen your concentration in class and in playing
- Exercise so that you won't have excess fat on your body. Because computer gaming is only sitting in front of your pc and doing no exercise at all.
- Don't be carried away by the games you play
