Should smoking cigarettes be illegal? Personally I think it should be. If smoking pot is illegal and all these other drugs are illegal too, than why not make a product that kills hundred and thousands yearly illegal? Its just as addictive as crack and cocaine and any other drug and it causes cancer and does damage too one’s looks. So why are people allowed to buy this product? Maybe it is such a huge product and the government makes way too much money off this, so why ruin their profits so we can save lives. I’m pretty sure ( cause I know a few) that smoking does tear apart families and relationships and friendships. It’s just stupid to pay $5 a pack just so you can end your life quicker. If people don’t get their fix of nicotine, chances are they will throw a huge fit. So I guess that proves that a cigarette changes a person’s persona, sounds like an effect of other drugs. So If other drugs are illegal because it changes people and harms them, than why keep cigarettes legal? One can only wonder I guess.
