Does anyone else have a senior in their life they are concerned about?

My 66 year old mother does nothing anymore except her RPG, even if we can pry her away from her screen long enough to sit through a meal with us; all she does is talk about her cybor-friends, like we all should know these people she is talking about & like she has some sort of real life with them.

We want our mother back, some family members are already mourning her as if she has passed on, because to them this is not her and their mother is gone.

I don't know what else to do as we have already tried and intervention last year, she missed the whole summer last year by sitting in her room on her computer while we barbecued and entertained friends and family. She used to love entertaining & being the centre & foundation of our family, now I don't even know if she notices or cares what any of us are doing or going through.

Any suggestions on how to help the elderly?
