Use E-cigarettes to Stop Smoking

Trying to quit the tobacco habit can be frustrating. A company in China has come up with an idea which they say will help smokers to break free of tobacco.

This idea is fairly new, "Smoke to quit smoking." It entails a product produced in China, a product which looks, feels and acts like a real tobacco cigarette.

At a cost of over $200 each, it is a reusable plastic product. It does require addition of a liquid into the mouthpiece. Also, a rechargeable battery is used in the product. Other than those expenses, the e-cigarette is free.

There is no tobacco in this cigarette. There can be nicotine which is released by the battery-powered microprocessor, but it can also be set up to be nicotine-free. The idea is to have a cigarette with no carcinogens or toxicants in it. This makes the smoking habit less harmful to the body than smoking tobacco products. If a person uses a recipe which includes nicotine, he is still exposed to other harmful diseases of the circulatory system.

Different countries in the world have differing views about this new e-cigarette. It is not yet available in the USA. Yet, it is not restricted at all in the UK. China, Israel and Turkey are countries where one can buy them with no problems. At present, about 65 percent of the sales of the e-cigarette are in China.

Does it help a person stop smoking? In China, around two percent say it helped them to stop the habit. Even if they do not actually stop the nasty habit, it can be a safer way of smoking since there is no fire involved. Also, there is no second-hand smoke to irritate non-smokers.

Electronic cigarettes are on the market in some areas of the world. What will someone come up with next, electronic beer?
