11 Easy Steps to Enter Self-hypnosis

Use relaxing, self hypnosis easily with this short and accurate method. Written by someone who uses self-hypnosis everyday.

Self Hypnosis can improve many areas of life. It can make affirmations more effective, it can boost energy, increase confidence and much more.

This technique is the Betty Erickson (my favourite). I find it's the easiest and most relaxing.

  1. Sit in a quiet comfortable place
  2. Concentrate your sight on something
  3. Concentrate on hearing a noise
  4. Concentrate on what you are feeling
  5. Now close your eyes
  6. Imagine seeing something (this can be the object you looked at before hand)
  7. Imagine hearing something
  8. Imagine a feeling
  9. You are now in a hypnotic state, you can give suggestions or affirmations or simply enjoy
  10. To awaken simply say “as I count 5-1 I will awaken feeling totally refreshed and alert”
  11. Count 5-1 and awaken
