AMETHYST:
If lavender is the universal essential oil, amethyst is the universal crystal. This is a wonderful atmosphere stone, placed anywhere in the house it promotes harmony and balance, clears negativity and disperses emissions from TVs, computers and microwaves. Amethyst can be used to clears headaches, simple place or rub a smooth tumble stone over the forehead and on the back of the neck.
In the bedroom it will promote peaceful sleep and can inspire dreams. This is an excellent crystal to use in meditation as it promotes peacefulness and stimulates the crown chakra allowing greater access to right brain activity. Simply by holding amethyst for 20 minutes can help clear and balance the chakra and cleanse the aura. This is also a great stone to carry for protection against negative attacks.
Amethyst is said to strengthen the immune system and have a beneficial effect on the pineal gland, pituitary gland and enhances right brain activity. CLEAR QUARTZ:
This is the crystal responsible for today's technology from computers to lasers. When subjected to heat or pressure quartz amplifies, focus, store, transform and transfer energy. This is equally true when used more consciously. It can be used to amplify energy and thought and can be quite strong in its effects. It is said to stimulate brain functions and dispels negativity. It is said to activate and enhance the pineal and pituitary glands and is an excellent tool in meditation producing clarity of thought, inspiration and communication with your Higher Self. The crystal can also be used to dispel negative energy.
A cluster on or near a TV set, computer or microwave will help dispel potentially harmful emissions.
