Healthy Stuff You Can Deal With

A few items that work for us and don't work against our wallet.

If friends or family on the herbal kick, with all those MLM programs running wild, have ever swarmed you, you probably felt overwhelmed. Being a former herbal distributor, I was indeed my best customer. I took an interest in reading all I could about the raw basic herbs, and also basic fruits and vegetables, and what they actually can do without having countless bottles of expensive capsules in the cabinet.

Here are just a few of basic things that have helped my family tremendously.

Organic Black Cherry Juice

Found in the grocery store, ranging from $4 to $7 for a quart.

This helped us so much with minor aches, pains, sore joints and muscles. Two tablespoons each morning is recommended. My husband takes a shot glass full each morning, and I was surprised he commented after the second day he felt no pain, as he has experienced many bone and joint injuries in the past that he felt he had to live with since he doesn't like pain meds. The juice should be refrigerated after opening. It will seem sweeter after it is chilled.

Eucalyptus Spearmint Candles

Commonly called stress relief candles, these are great for helping with congestion, sinus problems, while sleeping. I get a large candle at the mall, for about $20. I only have to buy two of them a year. It lasts along time and fills the room quickly with the scent. I light the candle a couple of hours before bed, I usually don't burn it all night, but I have many times. It is great during cold and flu season, as we know congestion can get worse at night. The spearmint helps make the scent nicer, and mint is beneficial for the tummy when taken internally, but please do not lick or eat the candle!

We deal with asthma here, and we love these candles, especially when you can't use the inhaler but every 4 to six hours.

Bee Pollen Granules

These are very nutritious, very powerful. You can get a pound canister ranging from $20-$30. It is more than I could use or give away in a year's time. It has been said that it contains every vitamin or mineral you need and you could survive on Bee Pollen and water if you had to. It's loaded with all your b vitamins as well as almost every thing else under the sun, and you only need a few specs of it daily to get started. The maximum I took was 1/8 teaspoon a day after building up gradually. It gives you great energy without feeling any kind of caffeine type effects, and it also helps your appetite, if you need to build up muscle mass, and takes away normal stress and fatigue. I was giving it away in tiny zip locks to friends and family, and still never ran out. Please watch for allergies on this as many people have bee related allergies. Keep it in a dry cool place.

I have stocked up on these items and many more for less expense than the cost of the average doctors office visit. I truly believe in seeing a medical expert if I have a problem, but other wise I have found with a few healthy measures, you can still enjoy more of life and actually feel better than you did, and once you do it's a cool way to be!
