Most people assume herbs are annual or herbaceous plants, such as basil, or perhaps ginseng, but in fact herbs span the breadth of the entire plant kingdom, from giant conifers to tiny yeasts. Herb plants are found among mosses, ferns, conifers, and even algae, as well as the more familiar higher flowering plants.
A number of herbs contain substances that stimulate GTS, an enzyme that helps the body eliminate cancer. These herbs include the following:
- Garlic. Describe as a “Simple, non-prescription drug that helps detoxify the body and prevent disease”.
- Ginger. As known to contain potent antioxidant that posses anti tumor activity.
- Onion. Valuable for hair, nails of finger and toes, and for the eyes.
- Leeks. Contain a variety of sulfur compounds that are known to decrease the tendency of blood clots to form, significantly lower blood cholesterol levels, and decrease the risk of cancer.
- Pepper, green. May help prevent cancer in organs and glands lined by epithelial tissue due to its high vitamin A content.
- Oregano. The juice extracted from the leaves given as cure for asthma, bronchitis and cough.
- Celery leaves. Prepared for the cure or prevention of rheumatism and gout.
