Homemade Facial Night Cream Recipe
Homemade recipe for a night cream that leaves your face soft and nourished:
- 3 tablespoons lanolin
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 1 tablespoon almond oil
- 1 teaspoon oil of lavender
Melt the lanolin in a double boiler, or in a bowl over a pot of boiling water.
Add the sunflower and almond oil. Beat well to combine.
Remove from the heat and let it cool.
Beat as the mixture thickens, then stir in the oil of lavender.
Pour into a small jar and cool completely before closing the lid.
Orange Yogurt Mask
- 1 tsp plain yogurt
- 1 tsp fresh orange juice
Combine the yogurt and juice. Apply the mixture to your face. Rinse with plenty of warm water after 5 minutes.
Natural Conditioner
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 3/4 cup lukewarm water
Beat the egg yolk until it's thick and white. Add the oil and mix well. Then add the water into the egg mixture and mix well. Massage into clean, damp hair. Rinse with plenty of warm water after about 10 minutes.
Lemon Hair Spray
This all natural hair spray will leave your hair with a fresh lemony scent.
Take 1 lemon and 2 cups of water
Cut the lemon over a glass bowl to catch the juice. Add the lemon pieces and the water to the bowl and set the bowl in a pot of simmering water. Simmer until the lemon water mixture has been reduced by half. Pour it through a piece of cheesecloth to strain out the lemon pieces. Let the liquid cool, and then transfer it to a clean spray bottle.
The hair spray will keep for up to a week in the fridge.
Milk and Water Foot Soak
- 7 cups of water
- 2 cups of milk
Mix the water and milk and heat on stove top or in the microwave. You want the mixture to be as hot as your feet can take.
Put the milk mixture in large bowl and soak your feet in it for at least 10 minutes.
Rinse with clear water and pat dry. Apply some lotion to your soft feet.
Homemade Lotion Recipe for Dry Skin
Homemade lotion recipe for a body lotion that's perfect for dry skin.:
- 3/4 cup of almond oil
- 1/3 cup of coconut oil or cocoa butter
- 1 teaspoon lanolin
- 1/2 oz grated beeswax
- 2/3 cup rosewater
- 1/3 cup aloe gel
- 1 to 2 drops rose oil
- 1 vitamin E capsule
Melt almond oil, coconut oil, lanolin and beeswax over low heat. Mix well and let cool.
Mix rosewater, aloe gel and rose oil. Add the contents of the vitamin E capsule. Whip this mixture into the beeswax mixture until well blended. Store in a jar with a tight lid.
Deodorant
- 4 ounces cornstarch
- 2 ounces baking soda
- 1 ounces liquid chlorophy
- l l/2 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces distilled water
- 8 ounces beeswax
- 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil
Melt wax over very low heat in a double boiler. Mix cornstarch, baking soda, vodka, and distilled water well. Add to the melted beeswax and stir until well combined. Add chlorophyll and essential oils. Pour into mold and let it harden. Store in an airtight container.
