The acne grow out without no reasons, and we cannot simple say that low-carb diets help reducing acne. True, studies show that some kind of acne can be reduced by keeping low-carb diets. For example, studies have approved that eating a diet low in carbs can help reducing acne caused by Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), because PCOS causes hormonal imbalance, and in turn, hormonal imbalance leads to PCOS symptoms, such as irregular menses, hair loss, excess facial and body hair, brown skin and acne etc, and eating a low-carb diet can improve many symptoms of PCOS, so, in this way, low-carb diets help reducing acne of this kind.
However, PCOS can cause irregular menses, hair loss, too, also PCOS can prevent ovulation, making it impossible to become pregnant. Can we say that low-carb diets help pregnant? Can we say that low-carb diets help women to have regular menses? Can we say that low-carb diets help hair grow? Certainly not.

Can we say that low-carb diets help reducing them? Each type of acne is caused by different factors, and it should be cured or cleared by different methods, not simply a low-carb diet. My suggestion is that if you have acne, you should ask a doctor for advice, and know the best way to clear them.
Do you still think we can simply say that low-carb diets can help reducing acne?
