Hi, friend, do you believe that your eyes can talk?

What? What're you talking about? Are you crazy, Chan?

Nope, you have to read my explanations within this article to understand the messages that are delivered by your eyes.

Your eyes not only can talk, but also they reveal your words that you want to say. Your eyes are good guy. They never bluff you; whatever they told you is a truth that you have to accept. Now, without any hesitate, come and see what bad words your eyes have said on you.

Panda-like Eyes

Your eyes say, “Hmm, what're those black round rings that encircled my body? Look strange though…hmm…. with these alien black rings…Doctor says my kidneys are not in a good shape…”

Even though they are many causes of the formation of black rings around your eyes, it might also an indication of relatively weak kidneys. In other words, your kidneys are not functioning well as it should be. People who have weakened kidneys are more likely to have dark circles developed as shown in numerous clinical experimentations. They may also have to face swelling eyes' problems. Chinese physicians believe that the kidneys take over the control of the water storage in the body. That means the kidneys host the fluid metabolism to be held in a human body in order to maintain internal body fluid equilibrium. If the kidneys have not been functioning well, all the fluids will deposit in other parts of the body, and it is particularly common that most of the water will be accumulated within the eyes causing edema (an observable swelling from fluid accumulation in body tissues). When excess fluid accumulated within the tissues of the eyes, it may cause many underlying health-related problems.

Very Tense and Stressed Eyes

Your eyes say, “I wonder what happened to me. My body keeps on jumping and jumping…What's wrong with my body? The expert says I must be too stress and tense these days!”

When your body feels the sudden pressure, or in a situation of too tired or too tense, your nerves will be stressed until they are unable to contract or stay in rest as usual. At this moment, your eyes will keep on blinking; your eyelids will experience the situation of an involuntary, convulsive twitching of its tissues, your vision became blurring as you could hardly see things around you, and you are sensitive to light (photophobia) and thus you try avoiding yourself from the direct light as it makes you feeling discomfort and pain. No matter whether you have either left or right of your eye keeps on blinking, you should aware that this is an indication to tell you your eyes are in tense, stress and tired situation. To solve this problem, you should keep your eyes rest by not looking at the computer or any materials around you. For this case, about 30 to 40 minute-sleep or nap may keep your eyes rest well.

Dry Eyes

Your eyes say, “Whew!! I'm going to die as my body gets thinner and thinner due to the loss of water... I must be dried out soon under this hot weather! I feel like my body is burning as though in fire. Could anyone get me a glass of water! Helicopter, ASAP!”

The symptom of dry eyes (keratoconjunctivitis sicca) occurred when you stay too long at the screen of the computer, or you might have spent too much time reading without allowing your eyes to get even several minutes of rest. The long hour of using your eyes while at work or study may intentionally reduce the numbers of eyes blinking at the rate they should be to maintain a better vision performance. For your information, blinking is a type of protective motion upon the effect of the nerve reflection. This motion is essential to allow the tears to moisturize the surfaces of the conjunctiva and cornea. The moist condition within the conjunctiva and cornea is important as it helps avoiding friction and harsh rubbing within the said surface. A normal person should have eyes to blink at 10 to 20 times per minute to promote the healthy “yoga” within the eyes. You may have forgotten to blink your eyes while looking at the computer or working on piles of files and documents. Not to say you forget to replenish your body with adequate amount of water, you may have not even a chance to let your eyes blinking. Despite of these reasons, your eyes will definitely dry out! Therefore, when you have encountered with this problem, remember to replenish your eyes with water by washing them with clear clean water to maintain their moisturized state.

Fantastic job! I had no idea that you could find out so much from someone's eyes (health wise). We know our eyes are the windows to our souls, but it sounds as if they are also the windows to our health.

Thank you, Chan. Take care.
