"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Being alert with the signs of sickness may help you to go for the earlier treatment and your prompt action to adjust the diet and lifestyle accordingly.

Most of us feel trapped by a hectic schedule and a never ending list of tasks that demand our attention until we find ourselves neglecting our health. We promise to schedule our “annual physical” tomorrow, but how long has it been? When we have a running nose or a cold, we swallow some antibiotics, over the counter cold pills, or painkillers hoping that the sickness can be cured easily and rapidly. Thus, some of the symptoms that are revealed or signaling deeper problems are being ignored.

For your information, the disease is not there within one day as it needs certain time to develop. Take a cancer tumor for example; it requires 20 years or more to develop to a size of an eraser. The ulcer may need months or even years to develop in the stomach. It isalways easier to treat the disease in its initial stage as compared to its critical stage.

We are so neglectful that we pay no attention to flu, a cough, a fever, or any other symptoms thinking that it isa small matter to be solved. Are you aware that many common symptoms may indicate a chronic disease? People tend to become worried or anxious when they are diagnosed as HIV positive, HPV positive, AIDS positive, cervical cancer, and a long list of diseases to go. We are not concerned when we develop flu like or cold symptoms never dreaming that something more sinister may be developing. As every disease needs a cycle to develop, it is wiser for us to become more familiar with our bodies, and schedule regular doctor's appointments. When the disease is detected at its earlier stage, the earlier treatment can be given immediately and timely. In the initial stages the curable rate is as high as 95%.

I would like to share my knowledge with you on how to check on the harbinger of disease that is related to the signs of illnesses. Here we go.

Jaundice Hepatitis

  1. While you are washing your face, look at yourself in the mirror. If your face appears yellowish accompanied by a body or a physical fatigue, you are more likely to have a disease called jaundice (yellow skin) hepatitis. If you accidentally found that your eye sockets are congested with a small bundle of blood, yellow or cloudy strips, you should see the doctor immediately for further treatment.

Biliary Sludge

  1. Chinese practitioners believe that the facial color can reveal certain diseases of a person. They diagnose patients based upon the five main colors which are regarded as a signs of the existence of certain diseases. When one gets the sickness, the facial color will change in accordance to the type of diseases. The change of the color here is also known as a “sickness color.” Green color is always related to the liver disease; red color for body's heat syndrome; yellow color for jaundice hepatitis (refers to the yellow color of the skin and whites of the eyes caused by excess bilirubin in the blood. The bilirubin is produced by the normal breakdown of red blood cells), biliary sludge or stones (a deposit of tiny stones or crystals make up of cholesterol, calcium bilirubinate, and other calcium salts), gallbladder cancer, pancreatic cancer or other related diseases; white or pale color for cold syndrome, anemia (low iron or hemoglobin), severe abdominal pain or other lung related diseases; green purple color for oxygen insufficiency in certain parts of the body or poor blood circulation while black (black here refers to a color change of face but not a black skin) color is a sign of some chronic diseases. The black color may be an indication that the person may end life quickly. Besides that the black color may also indicate that the HIV/ AIDS patients are going to die soon.

Periodontal disease

IPT rash on the forearm

Aplastic anemia

Leukemia

Leukemia Cutis

  1. While brushing your teeth, the gums bleed easily. This situation might be an indication of the inflammation of the gums or periodontal disease (a serious bacterial infection that affects the gums and bone supporting the teeth and thus causing the gums to become inflamed). High fever for example, may sometimes cause the change of the blood vessel structure in the gum tissues that leads to gum bleeding. If you discover that the gums bleed with a great deal amount of blood, or blood flowing naturally from the gums in a huge mass in which the blood is difficult to stop from bleeding, it might be an indication of the systemic diseases such as leukemia (an abnormal production of blood cells), hemophilia (the rare bleeding disorder which prevents the blood from clotting properly), aplastic anemia (a rare and serious blood disorder in which bone marrow stops making enough new blood cells) or IPT (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura a bleeding disorder in which the blood does not clot as it should). This is a symptom of having a small amount of blood cells called platelets, PLATE-lets). If you have a feel like vomiting while brushing your teeth and this symptom persists every morning, you are most likely to suffer from a chronic pharyngitis (sore throat).

I just finished reading your "26 signs of illnesses"... You did mention chronic disease. I wanted to mention (since I have the disease) that Wegener's Granulomatosis--a vasculitis disease can have all those symptoms, too.

Yours, Cyn
