So the family member is at the heart institute and has gone there on several occasions. This time though he is resolute about solving the arrhythmia. So far there has been an improvement regarding the number of peaks he has between diastolic events but they still occurring at random especially after he has eaten and is sitting up in his cot. Today's excessive atrial contractions or tachycardia were less pronounced than a day earlier after an invasive operation through the vena cava. I noticed that the arrhythmia also occurred when raising a topic that caused him to inwardly change his mood but that is only a personal theory. One thing for sure is that the patient does not want to remain on a defibulator which controls the pattern of the heartbeat and would rather have an invasive approach which would separate the diseased portion of the heart from the healthy part.
Doctors have been approached on what they think would be the limit of his physical activity but so far they have not given a clear answer. This is probably because there is a grey zone as to what arrhythmia would be induced as a result of increased sport activity. The relative is young and very sports minded. He wants to know whether he will have heart beat irregularities throwing Frisbees or whether that would be caused by more strenuous physical exertion. Obviously this would be so that he can control his own lifestyle properly.
