Cold packs-apply to the affected area for 15-20 minutes four times a day
Hot packs-after 48 hours, apply heat. If the pain continues alternate warm and cold
Stretching-avoid jerking, bouncing or twisting
Regular exercise-this is a great way to combat chronic pain and discomfort
