Meaning that the person that is carrying the virus wont get the most out of life since they know in the back of their mind of what is eventually going to happen. The type of decision that is necessary is if you know that you have the aids virus.
Then you should see a doctor so you can be treated right away, other then that you shouldn't have any sexual activity or body fluids exchange by any means. The main goal for aids is for one day to find a cure, if there was a cure then millions of lives will be saved. The long term solution would be for the scientist and doctors to keep doing research on finding that cure. For now though all we can do is raise funds and charities to help support those with the virus. Again the only thing that we can do is just support the company's that are coming out with ideas to support aids. For example the red Motorola Razor phone, with each purchase of it some of the money goes to the support of aids.
The people that contain virus will really appreciate the help that people from all around the world are helping making their lives that much better. The people in Africa will most defiantly appreciate the help as they are the highest percentage of aids in the world. I think that everybody is affected in a way that of course the people that have Aids, but also everybody else as they can help those people live a better life, by donating, by giving them access to hospitals so they can get the proper treatment that they need. I think that the principles that need to apply are for the people that do not have the virus to have compassion for those who to do. You should understand for what they are going through, and try to imagine how hard is must be for them living in their condition.
For the people that have Aids virus, they should be thankful for the amount of support that they are getting, and should not complain that not everybody is contributing, because the reality is not everybody is going to feel the same towards this situation as other people may.
The benefits of Aids, is maybe some day they will hopefully find a cure for it, but we can only wait. The risks are that this is a deadly virus so people that have it will not get the most out of life, and not enjoy it as much as they could. If other people found out that they have the virus, there whole look towards them will change, because they themselves do not want to be affected with the virus. I think that if they do find a cure for the virus it would lift so much weight off the people's shoulders with the virus.
People are going to die everyday, which shows that this is very important because these people are innocent people that deserve to live a full and healthy life. Our motive should be to help cure Aids, again by participating in charities and funds. The people that have the virus their motive should be to help contain virus, which again means no sexual activity, or exchange of body fluids. All in all I think that people should really see what these people have to go through, imagine waking up everyday and wondering if you are going to see the light of tomorrow. When you think about it, it is a scary feeling and you wish that it won't happen to you. This is why everybody should participate and making sure that we contain virus, and find that cure.
Life and Dignity of the Human Person
Aids can relate to this theme because if a person is affected with the virus, other people
have no right what so ever to discriminate them because of this. When people first think of a person who has Aids, there first thought is to stay far away from them and to have no contact what so ever with them because they are afraid that they will get the virus. It is alright that you have an open mind that you do not want to get the virus, but at the same time you have to have some thought towards the person, you shouldn't make them feel any more less then you are. They have equal amount of importance on this earth as anybody else does. There are safe ways that you can contact with them. Just simple talking with them will not hurt you, that are all they want, are just to be treated and looked at as a human being, not as being looked at as a threat.
Family, Community, Participation
we can relate to this because, everybody together on earth is looked at as a family. When one of us is sick or for that matter has the aids virus we take care of them and try to find a cure. We all make an effort to make sure that this person or these people are taken cared of, so they can live a better fulfilled live. A way that we can help our "brother's" and "sister's” is to contribute to the funds and charities towards them.
Even famous people like Bono from U2, help motivate people and help them realize that these are our family and we shouldn't abandon them.
