Are We Dringking Enough Water? Is it always Good For US?

This article is in response to Kristie Leigh Karn’s article, “Are we drinking enough water? I am in agreement with Kristie about her statement that when you feel thirsty, you drink. It is nice, simple and straight forward. However, life is much more complex than the immediate cause and effect. For optimal outcomes we should obtain an understanding of the issues involved and then we should decide on what is best for that situation. The author is a Lecturer in Health Sciences.

Cholestrol Lowering Drugs. Know Everything, Choose what is best for you!

Cholestrol lowering drugs are also called "Statins". These are used extensively for the lowering of LDL (bad cholesterol). You will notice that their name ends with the suffix "statin". Nurses and Medical students often have to give patients informaton about the statin which is being given. In this article, all statins which are currently on the market are discussed. This knowledge is to empower patients to maximise their knowledge and outcomes from medical interventions.

Chikungunya- exceptional type of viral fever

Are doctors around people with pain so much that they have become desensitized. If one doctor reads this and becomes a better doctor for his patients for it then it was worth the physical pain of writing it and sharing a page out of my journal.
