My Child with Autism?

How you can be a great parent and still make time for you. Ways to boost your life and provide a relaxing environment for you Autistic child.

This article is to boost and uplift lifeless parents in the struggle of raising children with autism. I as a parent of a daughter with Autism will show you how to get a grip on life and your child. You will be amazed when you learn the most simplest things to do to enjoy life and be a good parent.

Imagine two years after giving birth to a healthy baby you discover that the child is changing in a negative way. The child becomes emotional distraught and may not be able to talk. The first thing that most parents do when they hear those three little words, "he or she has Autism". The worst thing a parent can hear. I know all to well how that works. I didn't accept it right away, I spent many nights upset and depressed over my daughter's condition but in time I learned to get involved with the school, attended all the meetings and therapy that's given. Speech and Occupational therapy is very good for children with Autism, massaging them also helps a great deal.

There are several things that parents can do to maintain a healthy mental and spiritual mind is to get some alone time, maybe when the child is at school or my favorite time at night when you can escape from the world for just an hour or less. The most relaxing thing that i find to help me is yoga, I can't stress it enough, I feel so good after each session.

My daughter actually joins in and wants to be involved but she does it in her bedroom, she understands that this is my time, but of course it wasn't like. I use to suffer with migraine headaches and have not had a attack since. Another way to get away is to get away, go to the mall alone or play a sport that you enjoy, taking a long drive for maybe 30 minutes or walking to get some fresh air, you will be surprised how different you feel.
