My wife and I love to travel and when you travel it breaks up any daily routine that you might have especially your workout and nutrition program. Chances are no matter where you go you will not have to stop that routine, only refine a bit. The best part is you can still enjoy your vacation.
Before you book your trip find out if the hotel has a workout facility. If it does not then ask if you can workout at a local club near by for free or at a low cost. If you are going on a cruise then you definitely do not need to worry as cruise ships have state of the art equipment.
Now that you have your workout place write up a small routine that you are going to do. For example if you currently do weights Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and cardio on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays then stick with that but cut it down. Instead of doing 2 or 3 sets do only one, just increase the weight a bit. For your cardio, make it shorter and more vigorous.
Making this small change will still allow you to get your exercise in even while on vacation and never miss a beat. The best part is you still get to enjoy your vacation.
