It is hard, as a consumer, to “believe” in marketing, as we are constantly bombarded with marketing gimmicks. Not thinking, as our “trigger colors” are determined by multi million dollar marketing companies. Our friends are reserved on 3 letter networks, watching them eat 5 letter products; and of course they are neatly packaged in a perfect body. Then we drift back into reality and realize this fast food life got us super sized. We are subject to thousands of calories in a meal after a 3 hour “sitting session” that your boss calls a meeting. To get to work you sit in a car. To relax you go home and sit in a couch, or a sweet 2,000 dollar massage chair.
Being healthy is simple and easy. You can get healthier in just five minutes. Just try it. Perform just one exercise in my program. You will increase your blood flow, increasing your motivation to accomplish your goals. In just five minutes you have the capability to burn over 200 calories, which means you can lose a minimum of 20 pounds of body fat in one year if you just dedicate five minutes to exercise every day.
Give complete dedication for thirty days. Think nothing but positive thoughts on the subject of health and fitness for these thirty days, regardless of your current condition. This is an essential part to reaching your goal. You must follow exact direction for form, intensity, and progression. You must dedicate five minutes of your day towards non-stop exercise. In just thirty days at least five people will comment on your health and fitness level improving (unless you don't see five people on a regular basis).
It must begin immediately. You must have no doubt. Doubt is failure. Lack of exercise and eating habits can be held guilty in a court of law for killing one out of every three people. Would you dedicate five minutes to protect yourself from this killer, to reduce your chances of death by an exponential rate? Or you can be ten times more likely to die, just to sit for another 5 minutes. You have been sitting all day!
Not only will you protect yourself from death, but you will look and feel better. The typical American spends the last 11.7 years of his or her life in illness. Exercise can help people of any age, and has shown to in studies with people in there 80's and 90's increasing their strength over 100% (although my patients increase strength by much more than that if they are de-conditioned…regardless of age). Exercise is the first prescription for depression, and can even increase sexual performance!
So, ask yourself if you are ready to dedicate just 5 minutes every day toward exercise that can be done anywhere. All it takes is dedication and knowledge. The knowledge will be provided to get you to your goal. Will you provide the dedication to ensure that you will get to your goal?
You probably have done an exercise similar to an exercise in this program. Similar is not perfection. You must be perfect with form to create change. You must exhibit perfect form or the exercise is not the exercise intended. Just one little movement in high performance athletes causes an injury that takes months, years, or a lifetime to heal. You must exhibit perfect form. A lack of form is bound to cause injury, or retard growth at best.
Inefficient training comes in many forms. A low intensity workout that lasts two hours will not yield the magnificent results that you will yield from 5 minutes of intense exercise. Vigorous exercise is the only exercise that has proven to reduce mortality in studies. Your blood will be forced to circulate throughout the body which nourishes and provides the atmosphere for a self healing process.
You Do Not Need To Buy Anything Or Go Anywhere To Get In Perfect Shape
After watching thousands of people enter a gym and perform the movements they deem “routine-able” I realized the value of guidance. I always assumed exercise was a natural and simple thing, but I was fortunate to start my exercise adventure after I experienced years of teaching and guidance. Repetitive, unchallenging movements that yield minimal (at best) results saturate the gyms of America. People actually drive 20 minutes in traffic to sit on machines in a gym and aimlessly push weights or walk so slow on a treadmill that they do not break a sweat. There are millions going to gyms that have seen absolutely no change in their body in the past 6 months. Give just 5 minutes a try, but give those five minutes absolute dedication. Even if you can't give up your old “routine,” try adding these exercises in your fitness apparel.
