If you’re like me you will find that you spend most of your time sat down on your bum, I seem to wake up and then sit most of the time. This made me a bit worried about my general fitness and health; I can’t be doing my self any good by been so lazy.
I one day decided that I really needed to do something about this, so I wrote down a list of activities I found exciting and if I could do them more then twice a week, some ideas on the list were not really that helpful such as playing games, as I knew this wouldn’t help me at all.
With a list of ideas I started looking more in depth at them checking to see if they could really help me get active, I had some like paint balling but I couldn’t afford to do that three times a week or more, but its fun and active, simple ideas like this were sure to help me find something.
In the end I decided on inlining (roller blading) I enjoy the extreme sport, I invested in some pro skates and other equipment I would need and began, now I go three times a week to a skate park were I skate around and basically have fun, not only do I enjoy the sport it is helping me become more active and healthy.
If you would like to do something like this follow these steps
- Decide it’s time to exercise more
- Create a list of fun activities
- Check the list and research into the ideas
- Pick one of the ideas you like the most
- Have fun and become healthy
