We all want great abs, and you may be thinking that this cannot be done just sitting on the couch, but it can! All you need to know is: how to eat, and how to exercise your abs while sitting down.
Let's start with your diet. Initially, you should eat a lot of protein. You don't want too much fat, calories, or carbohydrates, though. So a good food for you to eat is chicken. It is high in protein and low in calories, fat and carbohydrates. The protein will help you build muscle. Once you get you muscles nice and strong, then your diet will change. Then you should eat the least amount of fat that you can. However, you should follow the normal 2000 calorie diet. Just without the fat.
Now you will learn how to build those abs while watching television. This exercise is actually very simple. All you have to do is to flex your abdomen muscles. Yes, that's it. Try to hold it for as long as you can. Usually when you feel like your muscles will give out, you are just losing your grip. So just stop for a second and flex again. Doing this will not give you “washboard abs” but it will give you noticeable abs. You can also flex while asleep. All you need to do is lay on your back, with your head and shoulders on a nice fluffy pillow. This will simulate what you do when you do a crunch. Thus, building muscle.
If you do this for a while and are not seeing results, then you still may have a little fat on your belly. It only takes a little fat to cover up your abs. So recheck your diet. If this still doesn't work, or you are just too impatient, then do some cardio exercises to trim off that fat.
