Most of the time, those with bad breath are not aware that they have this problem. Even their family and friends lacks the courage to tell them about it for fear it would embarrass them. - Drink plenty of water, especially for those taking medication. Drink at least half glass of water every hour.
- Brush teeth and tongue regularly, after waking up and after every meal. Tongue is covered with microscopic hair like projections that trap food residue, brushing the surface will help remove bad breath.
- You can use baking soda as a mouthwash because it is good for gingivitis; one tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of water is a good remedy
- Select the right mouthwash; look for one that contains zinc. Zinc inhibits the production of sulfur compounds that causes bad breaths.
- Don't eat too much garlic and onion because it can cause foul odors. Aromatic substances in garlic and onions enter the body through the pores of the skin and into the bloodstream. It then gets released in the lungs and exhaled through the mouth and nose.
