Diet
This is one of the most important ways of improving your health. You are what you eat. Start your day with a healthy breakfast. Fresh fruit and yogurt is a good choice. Eat a snack between breakfast and lunch; a protein is a good choice of snack. Salads and fresh vegetables are healthy choices for lunch. Eat another protein snack in between lunch and supper. Supper should be a light meal containing fresh vegetables and fruit. When you eat balanced meals at regular intervals you will increase your metabolism and energy levels. When you eat better you will feel better.
Water
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Stay away from fizzy drinks and drinks that contain a lot of sugar. Tap water is not the best to drink. A good water filtration system is advisable and can be friendlier on the pocket than bottled water.
Supplementation
The food we eat doesn't contain enough nutrients for our bodies to stay healthy. Take a good daily multivitamin and an omega three as basic supplements. There are a lot more that you can take but start of with these at first.
Exercise
You need to exercise at least three times a week for 20-30 minutes. By exercising regular you will feel better. Walking, running and cycling are all good forms of exercise. If you don't like one of these you can join a gym. You can join a team sport if you like socialising and even make some friends.
When you do all four of these combined you will definitely see an increase in your energy levels and feel better about yourself. Your confidence level will rise and it will become your way of life.
