The upstart Bethesda Skincare company has created a product that many of us could benefit from: Sunscreen Soap. It pretty self-explanatory; this unique bar of soap gives you a coating of SPF 10 sunscreen when you lather up.
While that may not be enough for a long day of sun exposure, it should help protect you from short spurts of sun exposure during your day-to-day activities. Even if you are only going to be outside for 15 minutes, it is a good idea to protect your skin. Getting out a bottle of messy, oily sunscreen and smearing it on isn't a pleasant experience, but going without sunscreen at all can add up. Skin cancer poses a growing threat, especially for those of us with fair skin. Perhaps this soap will be a good way to ensure that you are going outside with at least some protection from those rays.
