Should Pop be Pampered?

This focuses on Dad's staying healthy and stress free.

The kids, the house, the job....the stress! Often times these days poor Dad gets left out of the mix when it comes to taking care of numero uno! With most households holding two jobs, it's easy to be caught up in the craziness and the one thing that is left out is time. Time for himself. Time to relax and regenerate his body, mind and energy. Sometimes he just needs to take a great big swim in "Lake Dad."

Women are more apt to make appointments for their own personal upkeep, but men are far less likely to think of such things while juggling the day to day responsibilities. Men...YOU must make time to pamper your self! Make it a regular part of your schedule. Get in the habit of doing things that make you look and feel better. Women... if your man is not doing this for himself, then he may need some training to get into the routine. Some guys just don't think of this stuff! Urge him to book that massage or soak in the tub!

There are many ways for a man to relieve the stress. He should try to take time for activities like jogging, walking or stretching the tension away. If he needs more incentive, he can play sports like tennis, golf or hoops with the guys. He should also indulge himself with some well deserved pampering such as taking a sauna and getting a massage. Taking care of his skin, hair and overall health is just as important. He needs to develop a good vitamin regimen, eat healthy and yes, men need to use skin moisturizers and proper hair care products just like the gals.

The single most important step that Dad needs to make is to take some time that is just HIS everyday. Then he will be well suited to handle all of the hurdles each day puts before him. This makes for a happier, healthier man and his clan!

Should Pop be pampered? We think if you took a poll of stressed out families from every walk of life, the answer would be a resounding YES!
