Depression a disability

Is depression a disability

Is depression consider a disability? Should a person be allowed to collect income or be deemed not too engage in work? Maybe it is a disability and maybe it’s not.

Are people born depressed or does something along the way of life cause depression? If a person is healthy in all aspects except they are or get depress from time to time, should they be able to get income assistance from their government? What if a person is only mildly depress, should they work or be kept from working. Can depression stop a person from working or doing things? If a person is in good physical health, how can depression force someone too take a seat and not be able too engage in physical activities? Broken legs, broken arms, arthritis, and a severe wound are all things that can force you too not engage in some physical things, so how does depression stop someone. Is depression a mental thing? Yes depression can bring stress and stress can damage the body but how long does that take, a while or it depends on how severe the depression is. Either way, depression is not a good feeling and if it is severe enough than yes it probably can be consider a disability.

I was born with bi-polar disorder so yes some people are born with clinical depression. And there is no doubt that it is debilitating.
