Prairie View Mental Health Center in Newton, Kansas is an excellent Mental Health Unit for people suffering from Psychiatric and mental health problems. It is about the only mental health hospital that I have seen in Kansas where the staff act very professional and treat their patients with respect. The mental health workers are very polite and very nice and treat their patients with the up most professionalism. The have been in the Mcpherson, Kansas newspaper many times and have a really good reputation.
When I was in Prairie View mental facility last year for about three days I had never seen such an excellent service. I suffered a really bad trauma and was suffering panic attacks so I had to get mental health treatment and I was suffering from anxiety and stress. My mental health worker Missy was a really nice girl and I told her how blessed they really were working in a place as nice as that. I was very impressed with the service.
The food in the dining hall was really good too. The dining hall looked like just a regular restaurant. They doctors were very professional. I have been in a lot of mental health facilities but Prairie View in Newton, Kansas has got to be the one I have ever seen. There were some really nice people there and the other patients that I lived with were also very nice people, so if you are suffering from any kind of psychiatric problems and live in the Kansas area. My first suggestion would Prairie View. It is the best place to go in Kansas for psychiatric aide.
