I am diagnosed with paranoid-schizophrenia, but I am living proof that there is help out there! We can help ourselves, in so, so many ways. Oh I forgot to mention my name, Wayne Haskett Jr.
It is ultimately, well maybe not at first, but it is necessary for us to want to get better. You can only go as far as you think you can, set goals, and give it your best shot to achieve them. There are many small steps to a greater “You”, but you need to take that first step, and don't, whatever you do, don't be limited by others standards. You are you, and you can't be exactly like anyone but who you are. There will always be room growth or change, if you are willing to do so.
As for me, after having mental illness for over 30 years, I have written and had published 4 books. Not every one is a writer, but find your bag and put your own air in it. In other words, have respect for yourself; the father above just as much as any other person loves you. Each and every 1 of us have gift, some people never get to travel that road though.
My life is most generally not boring. I find all sorts of fun things to do. Writing is my favorite pastime, but I find strength by looking on and upwards.
Being around other people gets easier in time, for most, I think. Going to mental health groups can help tremendously also! Talking and listening are most generally equal in reward!
“ Think clearly, get rest, sleep regularly!”
You could study psychology for a lifetime, and sill not knows what excruciating mental torture really is. A living nightmare!
It is really no ones fault, I believe, that mental illnesses exist. People who suffer from bi-polar, or depression, paranoia, or a lot of other trauma stricken conditions, are like any1 else on this planet! Please believe me when I say that most of us are OK!
