10 Foods Mom Said Not to Eat

Wow, I won't eat this stuff anymore.

Do you want to die young? Do you have a death wish or are you feeling hopeless this week? Well here are the 10 foods you should never eat and why.

  1. Breaded Chicken Strips from any fast food chain or bag found in the local grocery store. WHY: high sodium content, high fat levels plus this food will clog those arteries real fast.
  2. Cheesecake - Most of these delicious deserts have enough saturated fat in one serving (8oz) to provide you with 2 days recommended intake of saturated fat
  3. Sugar - The American food killer creating obesity in children at an alarming rate
  4. Artificial Sweeteners - If you have not read, at least some of the results of the recent studies and research about aspartame, shame on you. This is a dangerous and deadly product we stuff in out mouths daily thinking we are helping our bodies by not eating sugar. Wrong!
  5. Soda Pop - Really folks, think about this one carefully. Sugar, artificial color, artificial flavor carbonation and if you drink diet soda these are the ingredients in what you and your kids drink all day long.

Maybe it is time to go back to lemonade (real squeezed) and water, don't you think?

  1. Donuts - It does not matter if they are glazed or chocolate covered, these will add the pounds around your waist and clog those arteries with every bite
  2. Movie Theater Popcorn saturated with that yellowy “buttery” stuff - Do I really need to say more?
  3. Margarine (especially in stick form)  - These tasteless spreads are

fooling you into believing they are better than butter. Wrong!

  1. Canned soups - Too much salt and additives for anybody to even think of consuming these products
  2. Cold Cuts / Deli Meats - You really want to eat the parts of animals they usually throw away, but decided to make extra bucks from by grinding the organs, feet, beaks and whatever together throwing in some fat globules and sodium nitrate ( so they have a shelf life of “forever”)? And how well to the delis clean those slicers? And how long have many of those hunks of processed “meat” been in the deli case?
