Best Meat for Surgical and Heart Disease Patients

Some foods have been found to be more nutritious, balanced, and recommended for patients, especially surgical patients and those diagnosed of heart diseases. One of these foods is escargot, or snail meat.

Fatty Foods when eaten are always stored in the muscles of the body. The unburnt fat in the body often makes it difficult for surgical patients to undergo surgery.

It is often advised to reduce fatty foods like meat, butter, etc to reduce the incidents of adding more fat to the body. To this end, surgical patients and patient with heart problems often avoid meet and other excellent sources of nutritious food.

Some kind of food have been found to be more nutritious, balanced and recommended for patients, especially surgical patients and those diagnosed of heart diseases. One of these foods is Escargot or Snail meat. This meat contains very little cholesterol or fat, along with many Vitamins and other minerals required for a healthy and well balanced diet.

According to Nutrient Data Bank in France, 100 grams of edible Snail meat contains only one gram of fat. It also contains 79 grams of water, 16 grams of protein, 2 grams of Carbohydrates. It also contains 80.5 (kcal) of energy and traces of Magnesium, calcium, iron, vitamin A, Vitamin C, zinc, copper, potassium, iodine and nine out of the ten essential amino acids needed for the human body.

Based on the above nutrient data, it is undoubtedly certain that Escargot or Snail meat recipe is a well balanced diet for normal individuals and of course for surgical patients and heart disease patients and also people with high risk of heart problems and patients with impending heart problems and also for people who need low cholesterol in their meals.
