Cholesterol is one the important substance in our body. The liver is mainly utilizing it in order to facilitate fat digestion. HDL is known as the good cholesterol and these agents can actually reduce the levels of cholesterol in the body. Foods rich in L-Carnitine include red meats (especially beef), milk, cheese, and yogurt. Coenzyme Q10, based on research, has the capacity to reduce total blood cholesterol. CoQ10 occurs in mackerel, herring fresh heart tissue such as pork or beef heart and white meats like fish and chicken leg. Fiber is another cholesterol decreasing substance that can be obtained mainly from fiber-rich foods such as fruits, whole grains and vegetables. The mechanism of action of this fiber is its capacity to bind to small cholesterol molecule, particularly LDL or the bad cholesterol, and it is being eliminated in the body upon defecation. It also prevents absorption of cholesterol in the bloodstream thus reducing the cholesterol levels in the blood as well.

Interesting article, I have hereditary cholesterol problems and my medication caused an problem with my liver and I had to stop taking the tablets, I use many of the natural foods you suggest plus I take natural milk thistle, my levels lowered faster doing it the natural way.Thanks for sharing
