I was shocked when I read an article out of the New York Times about low fat diets. They cause you to gain for fat!!!! I want everyone out there to read this. Low fat food has ingredients like carbs and other chemicals. It was long believed that fats released a hormone that stores fat. A recent study has shown that those ingredients in low fat food trigger it. So the amount of fat you are digesting, is all being stored.
Smoothies, nutrient bars, and any low fat item needs something to cover up for the missing taste, chemicals that are much worse and cause you to store fat are replacing them. People have been purchasing dieting books for low fat and high carbs, have all been lied to and cheated, but unintentionally. Now it is more backup for the theory of just eating balanced, and more exercise, and healthy snacking is the key to the beautiful body you have always wanted. Unexpectedly you can gain that by eating the same amount, but just with more natural fats and avoiding chemicals. False sugars are on the top of the list for bad dieting ingredients. Therefore you normal coke tastes and is better for you than diet.
