You're forced by friends and family to eat at the local fast food. Do you just order whatever and count it as a failure or do you have healthy fast food?
You're out with friends and they decide to have dinner at the 24 hour fast food restaurant they all love. You're plagued with the decision of eating what your friends eat or saying that you're not hungry. I've done both and, in my opinion, they are both equally as bad.
Whenever I decide to eat what my friends are eating I end up feeling really guilty. And when I don't eat anything I get annoyed that they're eating and I'm not. Rather than doing either, there are better options. Why not order something healthy at the fast food place?
Healthy fast food? In a way, yes. Although most of the foods at fast foods are anything from healthy some places now offer salads and other healthy items. A salad from your favorite fast food will be far less beneficial than a homemade one. First of all, the nutrient content will have suffered the consequences unless the restaurant serves fresh food daily. Second, the chicken or other meats in the salad are probably not the best.
Nevertheless, having a crappy salad is a much healthier decision than having a double sized burrito. There, of course, are many other options available for those seeking to still have a social life in a society built upon food. If you and your friends decide to eat at a fast food place and its right next door to Subway then go to Subway while they're ordering at the other place. Also, you could pack your own lunch! It'll seem rather strange at first but can save you from the horrors of fast food.
