Different fruits and unusual vegetables are unique and fun to sample. If you are looking for a way to increase the variety and excitement of your eating experience, then you must experiment.
How many of you have bought a fresh pineapple lately? They are yummy, delectable, and luscious aren't they? I can taste it now. Remember to purchase one when you go shopping again. The best way to test for ripeness is to smell it. The skin shouldn't be green, but yellowish.
Natural fruits and veggies are a beautiful expression of love. Can you pick the perfect mango? Here is what I've learned about picking a mango. Make sure it's not, too hard or too soft. If it happens to be, too hard, leave it on your counter a few days, or if you go ahead and eat it hard, it will taste like a chemical. Then your mango eating experience will be spoiled. If you pick one that's too soft, the taste will remind you of eating mush.
In the springtime and summertime, the farmer's market is the ideal place to shop for fresh produce. Don't you love touching, squeezing and smelling fresh fruit? Fresh is the way to go. You can't smell through a can or a freezer bag. Those methods of preparation are more convenient for some, but they certainly are not the healthiest way to go. Enjoy eating scrumptious natural fruits and veggies.
Eliminate boredom and get out of the rut. By doing that will you'll avoid the dieting syndrome. Eat healthy and live long. Avoid digging yourself an early grave. If you are more familiar with boiling and frying, stop. Start a new habit today. Everybody is looking for a way to loose weight, rightly so, because obesity is getting out of control. Here is a secret, try eating raw veggies. They are crunchy, filling, full of fiber, and they take longer for you to eat them. Use broiling as your secondary means of food preparation. Remember eating raw and steaming is primary. Try it; you'll like it.
I can remember when I first sautéed green beans for the first time. They actually were crunchy; to my amazement they were very good. It was a wonderful experience to actually taste the unique flavor of the crisp skinny vegetables. Every since I can remember, I was taught to break the beans up into small pieces. That step was totally unnecessary, because breaking the beans up, allowed the nutrients and vitamins to escape. Besides that, the process of boiling the beans for an hour destroyed the enzymes. So it is no wonder that people bodies are sick. There bodies are starving for natural food.
So eat well, live well, and be well.
