Improving Diet

Take your calculator to the supermarket.

Many cardiologists, cancer specialists, clinical and nutritionists agree that reducing fat in the diet should be a high priority for good health. MAny studies have shown that excess fat raises srum cholesterol. It also increases the risk of heart attack, adult onset diabetes and several kinds of cancer. Not only that but theres the obvious problem that excess fat makes people over weight which leads to many other kinds of helath problems.

So how do you trim excess fat from your diet? Here's a way to calculate: "fat contains 9 calories per gram". Look at the food items nutritional label.where the label says fat multiply the number of grams per serving by 9 and divide the percentage of calories from fat.Think twice before buying items with more than 30 percent of calories from fat.
