Pizza is the most common food item available around and it is the most widely eaten food item. We see pizza huts on almost every street. Since the price is reasonable and since it tastes delicious, pizzas are being eaten by everyone, including you and I. But the big question many people have in their mind is 'Is pizza healthy to eat'?
The answer is a simple 'NO'. Yes, pizza is not at all good to eat, at least the one available in the pizza huts. Just check the amount of cheese they put on the pizza and even a child who has a minimum knowledge about fat and calories can say that pizza is not good(to be precise dangerous) to health.
Many people don't have enough knowledge about fats and calories and they think that pizza is nothing but some baked bread and some vegetables. They think that it is a good food item for health and they skip meals and eat pizza instead.
They don't know the fact that they are putting their health into danger. A slice of pizza has more than 350 calories and people don't feel happy with a single slice and a hungry person eats at least four slices. Two or three slices complete the maximum calories one has to take in a day. The cheese that we see on a pizza makes up most of the calories it provide. Eating pizza is not a bad idea if it just has the calories. But a pizza provides fats and saturated fats besides giving calories.
Fats and saturated fats are the worst enemies of a healthy body. No matter how much exercise you do at the gym, if the fat components you take are more, you can not compensate for the loss with the regular exercise. You have to increase the number of hours you do exercise and even then you are not sure of getting rid of the calories.
Leaving the calories aside, we have to think about the fats we take along with pizza. It is not a news that fats are bad for one's body and it is not healthy to take fats in excess quantities. Since we get fats and saturated fats from a pizza, it is good to avoid eating them. It is better to not eat them, rather than regretting later. Eating once in a while is not a bad thing. We can control the day's diet and have a slice of pizza.
Instead one can go for healthy pizzas that we can prepare at our home. They are a better choice over the regular pizzas we eat at the pizza huts. They don't have the fat contents we need to worry about. They have enough calories needed and they are safe to eat.
