Life Sustaining Benefits of Sea Salt

This guide exposes the lie that the FDA have fed society about consumption of salt. Could it be the very thing our body's need for healthy function?

What Your Doctor Isn't Telling You About Sea Salt

If I were to ask the general population what they know about eating a diet containing salt, they would say the best is a low sodium diet. And this information is true, however the Food and Drug Association have been feeding us only partial truth for years and most of us haven't pushed the idea any further and just accepted it as truth.

Table salt which we are warned to stay away from has been over-processed, harvested mechanically and heated under extreme conditions to remove the essential minerals from the salt. These minerals are then marketed separately to make more revenue from the salt.

Chemical additives are then added to give it that fine, dry texture and other additional chemicals are added to remove the impurities and dirty color that natural sea salt has. It is then iodized and bleached to give it that snow white appearance.

We are all very aware of the health risks associated with table salt. However, we were never informed that the real, unrefined, natural sea salt is ironically essential for life.

Unrefined sea salt is harvested in shallow pools from where the ocean has flowed into. The sun absorbs the water, leaving fields of salt. The salt under the surface contains those essential minerals.

Sea salt can be purchased from your local health food store, but make sure the label reads “Unrefined, No Additives”. Many food labels show that they contain sea salt, but don't be fooled, it's still refined and void of minerals and health benefits. The texture of unrefined sea salt is not dry, and it's not white in color. Its actually grayish in color indicating those minerals are present and it clumps easily.

There are 22 known health benefits of unrefined sea salt, but one benefit in particular caused me to become more interested in sea salt. Sea salt is vital to the generation of hydro electric energy in cells. My dad had suffered from heart palpitations and had been on beta blocker medication for years to help control the issue. He recently had a personal revelation about sea salt and began doing research. He immediately went out and bought a package of unrefined sea salt and began making it part of his diet. I'm excited to say that he's sleeping better than ever (which is also among the 22 benefits I mentioned above) and is down to a sliver of beta block medication. One day we pray he will be off the medication all together.

If that isn't enough evidence to prove the body's need for sea salt, I don't know what is!

Don't believe everything your Doctor tells you. Do a little research, think for yourself. Discover what your Doctor isn't telling you about living a healthy life, free of expensive and in some case debilitating medications.

Your article was interesting and certainly worth researching further. I have hypertension and have been instructed to avoid all salt. I have done pretty well considering it's every where.
