No to Fast Food

The world's favourite food is not because it is served fast.

Why do people love fast food so much? Why put on weight and increase the chances of obtaining deadly fat-related diseases such as heart disease just for the 5-minute luxury of eating a hamburger?

Has your 9 year old daughter ever asked you to bring her to the nearby fast food chain to have a reward of burgers and fries? Did you give in to that pitiful face? It's time to say no. Have you wondered how unhealthy fast food is before? An average 100g serving of fries contains 250 calories, almost 15g of fat, and an unimaginable amount of salt while its partner, the soft drink dissolves teeth and rots teeth, turning them an ugly yellow. Fast food is usually fried with cheap and probably reused hydrogenated oil, which contains the much-known killer, Trans fats.

In the fast food guzzling United States of America, over 50% of Americans are obese while in poverty-struck Ethiopia, malnutrition is more rampant, let alone obesity, thus proving fast food a killer.
