A group of English researches had carried out a research on variety of juices. From their findings, they concluded that purple grape juice contains high proportion of anti-aging substances.
The researches had analyzed the antioxidant and reactivity properties of thirteen juices. They discovered that purple grape juice contains very high proportion of polyphenol, a type of antioxidant components. Also, its reactivity is extremely high. This is followed by apple juice, and other acidic juices. In contrary, citrus juices has very low content of polyphenol.
Antioxidants play a vital role in human's body as they protect us from the threat of free radicals that causes cancer as well as the formation of lumps. Antioxidant can control free radicals to maintain oxidized cells in equilibrium. When our body achieves this stage of equilibrium, not only the aging process is delayed, but also lower down our risks of getting various type of cancers and coronary heart related diseases.
The researches explained that each juice has different property of polyphenol and reactivity. Thus, it is recommended to mix more fruit juices. For instance, purple grape juice, apple juice and acidic juices can be mixed together to benefit human with better health.
