These vegetables are high in fiber which helps you not only to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. These vegetables will also help you prevent the risk of getting cancers and heart diseases

Spinach - has high levels of beta-carotene, vitamins B2, B6, C, and K. It also have large amount of manganese, folate and magnesium. This vegetable could be the healthiest vegetable in the whole wide world

Brussels sprouts - are a cousin to the broccoli that also helps fight cancer. Rich in Vitamin C. Brussels are also good for those adults who have diabetes. Brussels also have vitamin A, calcium, iron, potassium, vitamin B3, and Vitamin B6. Brussels are good antioxidant, antiviral, anti bacterial, and good source for folate.

Beets - this red vegetable is rich in folate that that helps lower heart threatening homocysteine. This is also rich in potassium which reduces blood pressure and manganese that helps maintain your bones. Just a cup of beets a day will give you 34 percent of your daily needs for folate, 15 percent of Potassium and 27 percent of manganese.

Broccoli - is high in vitamin C and K. Just one cup of broccoli a day will give you more vitamin C and K in a day that helps fight cancer. One of the compounds of broccoli is the sulforaphane that disarms cancer causing substances.

Cabbage - can cut your risk of breast, lung, and colon cancers. Cabbages that have high levels of isothiocyanates which is a cancer fighting agent can lower the risk of breast cancer by 45 percent than those cabbages that has lower levels.

Eggplant - the chlorogenic acid in the eggplant produces that bitter taste can help prevent cancer and hearth threatening plaque from building up. Eggplants can also lower cholesterol levels. It helps the artery walls to relax which cut the risk for high blood pressure.
