There are many foods which help to relieve stress. When putting together your menus, you need to add these foods. These foods include almonds, tuna, salmon, whole grains, asparagus, broccoli, baked potatoes, milk and soy milk, red beans, green tea, peppermint tea, chai tea, guacamole, mixed nuts and peppermint candy. Blueberries, yogurt, fish, and fiber-rich cereals. These are just a few of the foods that help to relieve stress.

Many people take pills and stress-relief vitamins. Many of these foods contain these stress-relief vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B2 and minerals like iron and magnesium. There are many websites online which provide you which information on the types of foods that relieve stress.

Put "stress-relieving foods" in your search engine. Make a list of these foods, then find recipes that contain these foods. Foods that contain anti-oxidants are also excellent stress-relieving foods. So whenever you are stressed, think of these stress relieving foods. You should also exercise and meditate for stress management. There are excellent exercises and meditation techniques that you can find online and in self-help books and articles.

Yoga for example has deep breathing and stretching exercises that help to relieve stress. Nature walks in arboretums for example can also be stress-relieving. In addition, many find gardening and certain hobbies stress-relieving. Music can relieve stress, especially classical music and jazz. Find the type of music that helps relieve stress.

If you play a musical instrument yourself and this helps you to relieve stress, then play your own stress-relieving music. Keep a stress management journal and include the foods, exercises, and hobbies, including creative hobbies, that you find stress-relieving and that work for you. As for eating for stress, make sure you don't overeat any of these foods. Mix stress-relieving foods with exercise, hobbies, meditation.
