Your Body is What You Put In, Not Over It

We all try to look good, be it at the beach in our newly bought swimming suit, especially a bikini for the girls. Maybe we just want to be favorably commented on our new 2-piece suit or dress. We may all pass muster in these apparel, but what about the inside, where the key organs abide? How do they look?

Where Is Our True Age Revealed ?

Medical researchers tell us that our whole body structure every 7 years and the soft skin portion is replaced every 2 years. We can hide some wrinkles beginning to show on our cheeks as we reach our early "40s and in some cases even younger, but age is not directly visible in our vital organs and one indirect clue is our sluggishness as we age into our "50s. The question is how do we prevent most premature aging ? Firstly and the most important thing is eating the right foods. Just what are the correct foods ? Green leafy vegetables, foods that contain Omega 3 oils and foods that will supply the growing body with needed protein, carbohydrates and a reasonable quantity of (yes) fats. The fats that we consume should of course primarily be Omega 3 fatty acids.

TV Ads Make It All Look Easy

Makeup companies show us that a women's skin can be made to look like a newborn baby's and even though this may be possible for a short period of time, we know in truth that the application of selected cremes will only last a while and will have to be applied daily to give the appropriate appearance. The product manufacturer knows in all honesty that their product will not permanently transform a person's face into the radiant appearance that the audience sees in the commercial. Outward appearance of whatever beauty that is seen comes from within and grows outward. The aging process can be masked for short periods by external application of special lotions, but the facial appearance will show itself in the actual age of the individual which comes from within the person and is governed by the ongoing nutrition of each and every one of us.

Most female teens begin applying facial oils, eye shadow and other types of "mascara" on their skin to make them look appealing, more "grown-up", or just to be like their peers. Some experts believe the continual daily application of the mascara may eventually dry the skin and actually cause premature facial aging. There is no positive proof that this actually takes place, but one thing is for sure that the skin is replaced from within and will make new skin as time goes on. It has been mentioned by some medical researchers that if a person has a daily intake of Omega oils or certain sulphur compounds such as MSM, the skin should remain supple and smooth with a minimal use of any external chemical applications. All in all, it will be the foods we eat that will determine the appearance of our skin as we age.
