I have news for you it is going to happen whether we want it to or not
Now this topic is old age and habits. Different I am aware, but I like being off the wall once in while. Don't you?
I find one habit some people get into is snacking before bed or even right after a big supper. Is it a habit? I believe it is. Take my hubby for instance. And no I am not going to post his picture, or tell you his name. We need some suspense in our lives.
He will have dinner and it won't be an hour later he is in the fridge or the cupboard or the freezer looking for more to eat. Now your laughing cause you can picture him in your mind right. What I am getting at is the fact if doesn't snack all night long before bed. He will get up in the middle of the night and eat again.
Now that is habit. His stomach has decided he is still hungry. Hence he eats. Not a good thing. We all agree on that. Well, don't we?
I can time him and he becomes hungry at the same time every night. So it is most definitely a habit.
Going potty in the middle of the night I consider the same. I mean, look at it realistically. You wake up at the same time ever night and get up to go. Course, I have gotten up a couple of times in the past, but that was due to way too much wobbly pop before bed.
What would happen if you ignored those urges to get up and go? I for one am not aged that I can't make it through the night without going. Unless of course I do what I stated above. I simply roll over to the other side and go back to sleep
Course I have been accused of being a camel as well so maybe that is why. But when I go, well watch out.
Well aware that after a certain age that, yes everything slows down, and organs decrease or atrophy (get smaller) with age, but still, at what age does that start to happen? Is it 40? Or 50? Oh heaven's to Betsy, I'm passed 60,right?
Come now, both Hubby and I are over 50. I don't eat before and rarely get up in the middle of the night to go potty. So that can't be it,can it?
I am absolutely there are more things I put here So will have to think about them and come back to finish this. You put your thinking caps on as well, So you can add to this when I am done.
While I think that these especially can be overcome I am sure we can add a few more to the short list.
Keep in mind that what I write is purely from my observations and not related to any scientific fact.
