She looks in great in everything from a Baywatch bathing suit to a form fitting evening dress. Carmen Electra has a fit, trim physique that dazzles and intrigues her fans. How does she keep her figure so trim? Carmen has openly revealed her diet and exercise secrets so that others can benefit from what has worked for her. Here are some of Carmen Electra's diet secrets:

She Eats Lots of Protein.

Carmen admits to eating protein on a daily basis, primarily in the form of chicken and sushi.

Analysis:

Eating small amounts of protein consistently throughout the day can be an effective weight control strategy. Protein intake tends to promote a sense of fullness and satiety, making it less likely you'll binge on something unhealthy later. British researchers have even discovered that intake of protein causes release of a weight loss hormone called PYY which reduces hunger. The best forms of protein to promote weight loss are those that are low in fat such as lean chicken, fish, eggs, and vegetarian sources such as soy. Adding these components to your diet can help to take the pounds off.

She Drinks Eight Cans of Coke Per Day

Carmen confesses to having one serious diet vice. A penchant for Coca Cola. She admits to drinking up to eight cans of cola on a daily basis and has had trouble eliminating this habit.

Analysis:

With a twelve ounce can of Coke having around 150 calories, eight cans per day can add up to an enormous calorie load, not to mention sugar. Switching over to diet soft drinks would reduce her calorie intake, although studies have shown that people who drink diet soft drinks don't lose weight, in fact, they tend to gain. A smarter move would be to substitute unsweetened green tea for soft drinks. Not only does this substitution reduce calorie and carbohydrate loads, but it also adds heart healthy catechins which may play a role in preventing cancer. This simple move would save Carmen Electra up to 1200 calories per day!

She does Cardio Strip Tease

Carmen Electra practices daily cardio strip tease dance workouts that she learned by visiting strip clubs and observing the dancer's moves. She's even published a video that shows other women how to use these moves to build a better body.

Analysis:

Cardio strip tease can be an effective way to burn calories and fat while building lean body mass. The cardio strip tease moves use almost every muscle in the body while maintaining a fast enough pace to keep your heart rate in the aerobic, fat burning zone. Plus, these moves can be done in your own living room anytime it suits you. If done at least three times a week, this can be a very effective form of exercise.

There's obviously much to be learned from Carmen Electra's diet and exercise secrets. Eating a high protein diet and practicing daily cardio strip tease is a viable plan for maintaining fitness. Now if she could only eliminate those cola drinks!
