Design Your Own Weight Loss Program

It is an article on how to control how to loose your own weight. Based on my own experiences.

I have read some many articles about weight lost, so many I could not count. We all watch on Television exercise program diets shows are everywhere. Weight lost is rapidly becoming a way for other people to get rich.

I personally do not believe that I need some tiny woman who I do not even know telling me how to exercise and eat.

The fact is that while I am busting my butt eating the way she says to eat and doing exercises she says it works for her this tiny girl is getting rich. While I am still not loosing the weight, I desire. Funny yes and is true. How do I know she has not gone and gotten some surgery that makes her look that way while I am here busting my butt to look like her. Do not think it does not happen because it does.

I started to loose the ability to stay at my desire weight after I had my third child. I have try many things pills, diets, exercise programs you name it I have done it.

However, one day I remember I do not like to do what other people says I rather have my own thoughts and do as I think is best for me.

Loosing weight is hard and not fun. I should know but I found out why is so hard is not because of the nasty food and the hard workouts. The reason people eat wrong and do not exercise is because we tend to try to do it like others think is best. We try it but then we get frustrated and we quit.

If is your extra weight you are trying to loose you should be the one to dictate on how you should loose it.

You have to do it your self.

I am not writing an article on how to loose weight, because that would be against what I am trying to bring to you.

I am writing on how you can control the way you loose your weight.

One day I looked my self in the mirror and I did not like what I saw I was forty pounds over weight when I weight my self and I could not fit none of my clothes.

At first, I got frustrated and sad because I felt overwhelmed by how much this was bothering me. I was like many people I just look for the right diets and bought workouts tapes and nothing within weeks I would quit.

My height is 5'7 I did not want to be a tooth pick but to me I looked better at 160 pounds. I was as 200 pounds I needed to loose this forty pounds and I wanted them gone fast.

Therefore, what I did was I designed my own diet my way of loosing this weight. No more looking at exercise programs starving my self-doing what others people do, this was my battle and I did not need a skinny girl telling me how to fight my own war.

So I sat a day on this date I was to start my own battle against this weight.

First I choose what to eat everybody knows that raw veggies and cutting down on junk food is mostly the key of loosing weight we do not need to pay our hard earn money to learn that from any diet show because we learn this basic things in school. We all know that eating fruits and vegetables are good for us.

I am not going to say is not easy to put down a piece of chocolate cake down to eat a carrot stick.

This is when you use your mind power, how badly you want this?

I wanted it bad enough, I became 70 percent vegetarian I discarded red meat and eat salmon or fish baked not fried.

My exercise of choice became walking I walked an hour a day. Walking is a very personal thing for me; while you walk, you can think your mind becomes as clear as water.

I started to take charge of everything that concern to my weight.

I pick the food and the exercise that best work with me.

As I walked an hour a day, I would go trough every minute of my life I explore my memories and as I reminisced on my memories I would inhale air trough my nose and out my mouth.

So I felt in complete control I eat what I need it to eat I said no a lot to my self and I meditate a lot.

I stayed positive as much as I could. I was almost a size 18 when I started this battle; I went and bought me one pair of jeans that size and I wash them everyday. I believe that a diet I designed for my self was going to work and I had faith in it.

I eat six small meals a day and snack consisted on raw veggies and water. I walked and that was pretty much it. The secret about designing your own diet is to stick to it. Research on whatever diet you choose for your self and talk to your doctor always consult your doctor.

My doctor agreed with it and he gave me no extra advices because I told him from the get go. This diet was design by me and will be done by me is all about me. I just needed his medical advice to make sure I was not going overboard and some over the counter multivitamins he told me would help me with energy. Most of all I needed to believe I could do it.

By now, you are asking your self, did it work? The answer is yes, it did.

Less than six months I had lost those 40 pounds and the best of all is that I kept them off by simply keeping my walking going.

Is being three years sense I won my weight battle. I am never afraid of packing those pounds again. It worked like that because I was in control.

Is as simple as that we choose how to do it, and make it happen. Never set a goal time to do it. Time is free take as long as you need.

Today I am 38 years old and I look darn good.
