Do We Really Need Diet Pills?

Beat the diet blues. No pills or quick fixes, just a few small changes.

We all know that what we eat and do with our bodies affects our health and well being and I just wish more attention was paid to schools and more advertising was done to make people realise we are the ones damaging our bodies with what we eat and do every day and yet we are a nation of stress and ill health So what can we do about it .

Think of the times you had a headache what caused it, too much coffee, stress not eating at the right times. Depression what is causing it, are you eating right , drinking too much beer, wine, do we eat enough fruit and vegetables white meat, and exercise. Look at some of these points and ask your self why do I feel tired all the time, I feel bloated, I feel depressed , overweight.

Well its time to keep a diary and you will be amazed on your actual lifestyle and the bad things you do to your body without realising. Keeping a diary will make you understand what is causing your headaches, why you are so tired, why you feel bloated , also keep a note of what time you go to bed . Keep a record of your lifestyle habits for a couple of weeks , now read what you have written and see what small changes can be made on your bad habits ,you can start to make small changes like one less cup of coffee a day ,going to bed half an earlier, eating an apple or a banana, a day, walking the stairs instead of taking the lift, walk to work. Fill in your diary each day with how things have changed, and what small changes you actually made and how you feel today, this is what I did and it made me realise I was the one making myself ill as my eating habits were a mess, I drank too much tea which caused daily headaches, felt overweight and tired all the time, did not exercise and I made all these changes myself gradually over a period of three months.

No more diet pills we do not need them so avoid them as I do believe diet pills do not solve the weight issue problems as most will put the weight back on within three months so avoid if you can. But if you must use any diet pills make sure they are natural and also make sure they are only part of the programme in changing your lifestyle as so many people just think diet pills alone will do the work. WRONG .

I did things gradually so I could see the real difference in my health and well being , as I needed to know what damage we do to ourselves was causing the illnesses so many of us could well avoid. There is no quick fix and this has to be a life changing thing and not a 6 week quick fix otherwise all weight will be put back on.

I realised my headaches was down to drinking too much tea, weight issues were down to poor diet lack of exercise, my depression was also down to poor diet as well and the reason I knew this was because when I had a good day of fruit ,vegetables and healthy eating I felt great and to prove diet plays an important part in this .I had a day of junk food and was a sleep in the afternoon I was also moody and aggressive and generally felt low about myself so food is a major factor here and does determine how we feel about ourselves.

I feel a diary is very important here to keep on track of our daily habits because you can actually see what steps need to be changed and improved . I have kept my weight off now and I do power walking as my part of my exercise routine and feel good about myself and still keep a dairy. I still have my treat days but motivation is very important so set yourself a goal and when you start to see results you become more determined like I did. The reason I still keep my diary is I can determine if I get a bad headache what may have triggered it ,or if I just feel lousy I see what I have eaten and then change my eating habits the next day . This is the best way for weight loss not lots of pills

Try this and see the real difference in your health and well being, it will cost you nothing to make these changes. The thing is it will change you for the better it will also change the way you see yourself .

I love the advice about making a change each day. I need to lose at least 15-20 pounds and I tried all sorts of diet pills that I could never stick to. I am not sure if you realize that there a few run-on sentences in the article. I had to re-read some sentences because things were running together. Other than that, Great Article!
