Fibrous Foods That Aid in Weight Loss

Fibers helps us lose weight because they fill our stomachs but do not make us fat. Also, fibers go through our system and take with them undigested fats.

Fibers also slows down sugar absorption in bloodstreams and with that they stabilize sugars in the blood therefore reducing the cravings for food. It also assists in controlling our weight.

Here are the fruits that are rich in fibers. You can choose any to include in your daily diet.

Pineapples

They are rich source of vitamin C, it also have vitamin A, B1 and B2. It also contains carbohydrates, proteins, calcium, Phosphorous and iron. They also contain magnesium, potassium, sodium, sulphur, manganese and chlorine.

Avocado

It is rich with vitamin E and it is also rich in monounsaturated fat and calories. Avocados have calcium, iron, vitamin C and phosphorous. This fruit can satisfy any hunger.

Papaya

It is a delicious fruit that are good especially in the mornings because they have nutrients that your body needs in the morning. They are rich in vitamins A, B, C, and D.

Bananas

They are good source of potassium, chlorine, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, sulphur and silicon. They are also rich in starch and also in soluble fibers. They are also high in sugar if they are very ripe. Bananas has vitamin A, B1, B2, B5 and Vitamin C. And they are easily digested because of their soft flesh.

Watermelon

It contains 92 percent of water and only 8 percent of sugar. They also have minerals, and vitamins. Kiwis are high in vitamin C and they are a good source for potassium. Dates are also high in potassium and dietary fibers but they are a good source of iron.

Apples

They have soluble and insoluble fibers, they also have vitamin C and beta-carotene if you eat the skin. They also have potassium and boron. Olives are considered highly energetic food because of its fat content when they are ripe. The pear is also a good source of dietary fibers. They have sugar, mineral, and vitamins.

Mangoes

They are rich of vitamins A and C. Ripe mangoes gives beta-carotene. Grapes are rich in vitamins A, C, and P. Grapes purify the blood system. Passion Fruits are rich in vitamin C and A; they also have iron and potassium.
