Drink Water
Water plays a very important role in keeping weight off. If you are as much as 4% dehydrated your metabolism slows down, burning less calories. Also water helps rid your body of harmful toxins which can help pack on the pounds.
Don't Skip Meals
Skipping meals slows your metabolism and sends you into starvation mode. It sends signals to your body to save all the calories it can because you don't know when your next meal will be. Also when you do eat again you will have the tendency to eat a lot because you are so hungry.
Don't do the fad diets
All they do is give you a few days of weight loss..and in reality you will gain all that weight back in a few days plus more! The more you partake in these fad diets is essentially the more you gain instead of lose. You always see the success stories on t.v. and the internet, but you never see if they keep the weight off.
Be Positive!
I know what you think when you see things like “Be positive”. You are probably thinking that it's a bunch of crud based on religious people or something. But I am serious! When you laugh - you are burning calories! And I am sure you've heard or experienced for yourself that when you are depressed you aren't eating healthy. And you deserve better! Think of all your body does for you! It works every second of every day to keep you alive and working in tip-top condition.
